That is a damn shame right there. Even rusty Bronco IIs command big bucks up by me.

That poor Commanche has no place in a scrapyard either. The "Wagoneer" wasn't very popular but I liked the quad headlights on them.

The Cornbinder is a surprise, there's a willing buyer for those on every IH forum. Scrap value is only around $200/ton.

Beautiful! I have a special hatred for the Tercel among Toyota's 80s lineup, but not the 4WD ones. Those things are amazing.

Where is this yard? I WILL find someone to rescue this MJ, wherever it is. If not to save the whole thing, at least to keep the obscenely rare parts out of the crusher. It saddens, no, ANGERS me that people scrap these in such good shape. This one is in far better shape than mine!

Yeah I don't care if the engine or tranny grenaded— I would never part with a Comanche in this manner. That body had no dents or ding, color-matched capper, etc.

Also, if it ever happens again, the list of "GRAB IT NOW!" parts for an MJ are:

Factory rear bumper and brackets. In mint condition, could bring in big moneys... if it's chrome, you may be rolling in money.
Used factory class-three hitches go for the price of a new hitch for anything else.
Tailights. Used and unrestored, go for upwards of $100 on ebay.
Fuel sending unit.
Exterior trim pieces: rear fender flares, rear bumper end caps, any moldings, cab vents (and the rubber thing that goes behind them), rear windows (sliders in particular).
Cab corners/rocker panels... none of the aftermarket panels come close to fitting.
Tailgate
Roll hoop
Factory Leer bed canopy
Bed
Interior pieces, in particular seats/brackets, centre consoles, rear cab wall panels, headliners (black is most desirable.)
Rear axle if Dana44 or unicorn AMC 20

Usually it's just easier to take the whole thing. LOL.

NW Auto Recyclers. It's segregated in this fenced off area. Meaning it's either pre-sold, about to be up for sale as a whole, or potentially parted out. My money is that it's reserved. It was right behind the 944, which other than an ajar hood, was immaculate.
